What one assessment includes

Every assessment covers the whole itinerary, not a single city. For each destination and transit point it produces destination risk ratings with written rationale, entry requirements, health advisories, local laws and customs, emergency contacts, and a consolidated view of the current Five Eyes government travel advice for that country. Traveller-specific factors — nationality, role and profile — feed into the rating rather than sitting alongside it.

The output is a structured record you can export as a branded PDF, distribute to stakeholders, route for approval and have acknowledged. It is a working document for a risk manager, not a country factsheet.

Common questions

What counts as one assessment?
One assessment covers a single trip — every destination and transit point on that itinerary, for the travellers attached to it. A three-country itinerary is one assessment, not three.
Is GST included in the price?
No. Prices are quoted exclusive of GST. Australian customers have 10% GST added at checkout, calculated by Stripe Tax and shown on the invoice.
What happens if we go over the monthly allowance?
Team organisations can authorise additional assessments at A$15 each. Nothing is charged without an explicit in-app authorisation first, so you cannot overspend by accident. Solo does not have overage — upgrade to Team instead.
Do refreshes cost extra?
Yes. Re-running an existing assessment against current advisories is billed at A$8 per refresh on Team, and requires per-refresh consent before it runs. No refreshes are included in the monthly allowance.
Can we cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancellation is self-serve from your billing settings and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access, and your assessment history stays readable, until that period ends.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no free tier and no trial generations. The Solo plan at A$49 per month is the low-commitment way to evaluate Vortrek, and you can cancel before the next billing period.
Who owns the assessments we produce?
You do. Assessments, traveller records and acknowledgement evidence belong to your organisation, and you control how long they are retained from your settings.
